The LCME Secretariat staff is pleased to announce that Donna M. Russo, PhD has been named its LCME Assistant Secretary/AAMC Senior Director, LCME Surveys and Team Training (AAMC). Dr. Russo will join the LCME DC office on April 1, 2024.
In 2023, Dr. Russo was elected as a professional member of the LCME. She has spent the last 24 years at Drexel University, 22 of which she has served in several roles in the dean’s office. She has been part of the survey process at her school as a faculty accreditation lead as well as chair of the self-study task force for two accreditation cycles. She has also participated as a member of multiple accreditation survey teams. We look forward to adding her breadth and depth of expertise to our team.
