Survey Prep Workshop (Webinar)

The Survey Prep Workshop is held annually by the LCME Secretariat to provide schools with information about self-study preparation, survey visit logistics, the independent student analysis (ISA), and LCME standards and elements. It is open to schools that have a survey visit approximately 18-24 months before the workshop.

2024 LCME Survey Prep Webinar: April 30, 2024

Attendees

Attendance is by invitation only and requires pre-registration. Schools preparing for a full survey visit in the 2025-26 academic year are invited to the 2024 workshop. Invitations are sent to deans via email at least 4 months prior to the event.

Registration is required for our planning purposes, but there is no registration fee. The LCME staff will email deans of invited schools for the contact information of school representatives who will attend the webinar. Attendance is limited to 6 representatives. LCME staff will send registration information to these representatives via email.

School representatives should include the school’s faculty accreditation lead (FAL) and survey visit coordinator (SVC). Additional representatives could be faculty or senior administrative staff who will be working closely with the FAL or SVC in the self-study or site visit process.

Webinar Platform

The Survey Prep Webinar will be hosted by AAMC’s vendor, Cadmium. Attendees will need an AAMC account to sign in and register and participate during the webinar. More information will be provided to invited attendees. Cadmium uses Zoom for webinar delivery.
