The Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME) Secretariat held a session on how medical education programs can use accreditation as a tool for a continuous quality improvement (CQI) plan.  This session focused on how schools can use the LCME standards and elements to foster culture change and quality improvement. Examples from schools demonstrated how LCME elements have been used for quality improvement and diversity.  This session included time for discussion for attendees to ask questions and share CQI examples and practices.
