Join the Co-Secretaries of the LCME on the third Thursday of each month (January – October) on the Connecting with the Secretariat call, for an interactive discussion of LCME elements and procedures. Designed to address both the specific needs of schools preparing for a survey visit, and to provide a forum for all schools to engage in a discussion about continuous quality improvement, Connecting with the Secretariat offers an off-the-record forum for asking questions and exchanging ideas. Each two-hour session typically starts with the LCME Secretariat giving a presentation on a specific element of the month followed by a question and answer session. Callers are welcome to just listen-in to the proceedings or to actively engage in the discussion. Connecting with the Secretariat is a forum for academic medicine professionals and is not available to the general public.
