- Our school is preparing for possible disruptions to clinical learning as our area experiences a second wave of COVID cases. Now that clinics have established successful procedures for providing effective patient care via Telemedicine, has the LCME reconsidered allowing Telemedicine encounters to be counted for required clinical experiences? We would of course ensure that clear learning objectives are defined, proper assessment methods are in place, and students are provided with training before interacting with patients.
