- On the DCI under 6.3 Narrative Response (a), we are asked to identify the courses in which self-directed learning occurs in the preclerkship phase. Is there an expectation regarding how many preclerkship courses should feature all the components of the self-directed learning (e.g. at least one course, at least one course per year, every single course)?
- Under 6.3 Narrative response (d) and Supporting documentation (2), we are asked to provide policies covering the amount of time per week that students spend in required activities during the preclerkship curriculum. Are there examples of how such a policy might be worded (e.g., a policy based on maximum number of hours per week or average number of hours per week)?

- Our institution is in the process of the self-study in anticipation of site visit spring 2018. In Element 6.1, can you please clarify Table 6.1-1 for “Outcome Measure(s) for Objective” what level of specificity is necessary (each individual course/clerkship quiz, assignment, etc.)?
