New LCME Guidelines Effective AY 2025-26
The LCME Secretariat released two clarifying guidelines relevant to schools preparing for survey visits in AY 2025-26. The link to those documents and descriptions of each can be found below.
AAMC GQ Regional Campus Data
The LCME Secretariat has received questions regarding whether to provide AAMC GQ data for regional campuses on tables within the DCI. The first document, entitled, “AAMC GQ Regional Campus Data,” clarifies the LCME’s expectations for inclusion of AAMC GQ regional campus reports in a school’s survey package submission.
Guidelines for Follow-up Surveys to the ISA
The second document, “Guidelines for Follow-up Surveys to the ISA,” was developed by the LCME Secretariat and approved by the LCME at its June 2024 meeting. The guidelines specify the LCME’s expectations for follow-up surveys, which will formally go into effect for the 2025-26 academic year.
